Taoist Philosophy & Qi Gong
‘Qi’ meaning ‘energy’ and ‘Gong’ meaning ‘cultivate’ or ‘practice’, Qi Gong helps you effortlessly glide into a moving meditation utilising techniques related to Traditional Chinese Medicine to open energetic channels and maintain the wellbeing of our physical, mental and energy bodies. It works by aligning our meridians to allow the ease of energy flow clearing emotional blockages and healing physical ailments. I guide people on how to experience feeling ‘Qi’ and how to use that awareness to cleanse and charge their body. Tai Chi is a type of Qi Gong practice in a martial application.
Discovering Taoism, Tai Chi & Qi Gong completely changed my life. My first year of practice was a complete immersion spending more than 3 months in 1:1 daily tuition with Master David Maxey, personal student of world renowned Master Moy Lin Shin, founder of the International Taoist Tai Chi Society & Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism (which now teaches 50,000 students in 14 countries).
Maintaining a daily personal practice for Taoist Mediation, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, the study of Taoist Philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I offer group workshops, events & trainings, local classes as well as private 1:1 sessions.
“Very profound, so spontaneous and beautiful. She’s exceptionally genuine. The way she holds herself, the way she communicates, the light in her eyes, she truly cares. I’ve done a group session with her and loved it but I would highly suggest a 1:1 session as it brings so much more depth. Somehow intuitively she’ll see and know I’ll be thinking something or that something isn’t quite right and she’ll adjust me with my breath or how I’m moving myself shifting tension that I’m holding in a certain part of my body. It has to be experienced, I can’t say more about it!“

Motivational Speaking
I have always been passionate about communication and thanks to my choice of lifestyle, I have some pretty interesting stories to tell! I fell into motivational speaking by accident when I first started cycling back towards the UK from Asia. I was invited by schools, universities and organisations to share my experiences, concepts and reflections centred around happiness and equality.
After posting some clips on my social media pages, I was soon approached to give my first TEDx Talk in India. My confidence shot up as I realised I’d found something I was good at, passionate about and that it was another way to help inspire positive change in the world.
I believe that every event and audience is an individual experience so all of the talks I write and share are one of a kind. It is important to me to work closely with the organisation or business I’m speaking for to provide a personal approach and deliver a clear and impactful lasting moral message leaving the audience inspired, united and excited to make the world a happier place.
I am available to book for talks on happiness, equality and my journey cycling across the world both online and in person. Please email me directly: hannahshappinessproject@gmail.com
“I happened to meet Hannah during the TEDxKanke event in Ranchi, India. I got to hear her at different events organised for her and we also spoke about the cause she was travelling for – developing the happiness movement and empowering the females she came across educating them about different things. Her story was truly inspiring and will definitely touch the individuals whom she meets and will bring a smile on their face”

Social work
The majority of my work and project is centred around providing support to individuals, families or communities in need. The term ‘need’ encompasses financial, physical, mental and emotional hardship. My projects can span from free happiness coaching sessions to tailored courses to orchestrating events and gatherings or providing food and basic essentials where and when required.
I am intuitive, creative and spontaneous so I usually find myself crafting unique opportunities as I embark on my journey. I am always seeking ways to share my abundance and pay forward my privileges.
Activism
Happiness activism comes in many forms but street outreach is my favourite thing. It’s so much fun to go out alone or with friends with the sole intention to spread smiles and talk about happiness. Sometimes that’s in the form of free hugs and other times that’s making music, asking people, ‘What is happiness?’, playing interactive games or giving away stickers and cards specifically designed by me to spread joy.
Fundraising and FUN-raising
Although I have completed many fundraising projects in the past, from small to large, now I avoid doing it for large organisations as I prefer putting my energy into supporting individuals, communities or smaller more grassroots projects. If you have a project that is helping the world become a happier place, get in touch, I’d love to hear about it and maybe we can collaborate on fundraising, fun-raising or both!
