Happiness Coaching

The essence of my mentorship style is unique. Frameworks that I use have been written by me personally, including The 5 Simple Steps (as mentioned in my TEDx Talk) and my Why, How, What Method. It means throwing generic blanket structures out the window and delivering a very personal essence to the student-teacher relationship. Every person is so individual that applying blanket strategies although may be somewhat helpful, usually become limiting. I help clients meet themselves in deep awareness and have the confidence to honour their true needs and essence. Held safely and confidently, people can find their inner voice.

There are plenty of people who can teach you about business. There are plenty of people who can teach you about parenting. There are plenty of people who can teach you about money management. I specialise in happiness. Working with me you will find yourself empowered and supported with creative and unique tools intuitively crafted personally for you. Motivational Speaking

Passionate about communication and fortunate enough to have some incredible and unique stories to tell, I fell into motivational speaking when I first started cycling back towards the UK from Asia. I was invited by schools, universities and organisations to share my experiences, concepts and reflections centred around happiness and equality. After posting some clips on my social media pages, I was soon approached to give my first TEDx Talk in India.

I am available to book for talks online and in person as an expert on a wide range of topics including: happiness, meditation, silence, revolutionising activism and cycling the world. Please email me directly: hannahshappinessproject@gmail.com or reach out via the contact page.

“I happened to meet Hannah during the TEDxKanke event in Ranchi, India. I got to hear her at different events organised for her and we also spoke about the cause she was travelling for – developing the happiness movement and empowering the females she came across educating them about different things. Her story was truly inspiring and will definitely touch the individuals whom she meets and will bring a smile on their face”

Qi Gong & Taoist Philosophy

‘Qi’ meaning ‘energy’ and ‘Gong’ meaning ‘cultivate’ or ‘practice’, Qi Gong helps you effortlessly glide into a moving meditation utilising techniques related to Traditional Chinese Medicine to open energetic channels and maintain the wellbeing of our physical, mental and energy bodies. It works by aligning our meridians to allow the ease of energy flow clearing emotional blockages and healing physical ailments. I guide people on how to experience feeling ‘Qi’ and how to use that awareness to cleanse and charge their body.

Discovering Tai Chi & Qi Gong completely changed my life. From the first posture I had a full outer-body experience for 45 minutes whilst standing still with my arms in the air. After coming back into consciousness, it felt like 5 minutes had passed. From that day, I started my first 30 days of 1:1 tuition with my teacher, Master David Maxey. In my first year I was immersed in more than 3 months of private daily tuition. David was a personal student of world renowned Master Moy Lin Shin, founder of the International Taoist Tai Chi Society & Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism (which now teaches 50,000 students in 14 countries).

Tai Chi led me to learning more about Chinese philosophy. It was like discovering a manual for the way I had organically ended up living – simply, spontaneously and in harmony with nature. The ancient poetry perfectly compliments how I had created my happiness philosophy, and Taoist wisdom continues to refine my perspective on a daily basis. I offer classes, workshops, events & private tuition.

Very profound, so spontaneous and beautiful. She’s exceptionally genuine. The way she holds herself, the way she communicates, the light in her eyes, she truly cares. I’ve done a group session with her and loved it but I would highly suggest a 1:1 session as it brings so much more depth. Somehow intuitively she’ll see and know I’ll be thinking something or that something isn’t quite right and she’ll adjust me with my breath or how I’m moving myself shifting tension that I’m holding in a certain part of my body. It has to be experienced, I can’t say more about it!

Silence & Vocal Activation

It has been more than 4 years since I introduced a dedicated weekly silence practice – it completely changed my life. After meeting an inspiring friend, Joe, in Bangkok, Thailand, who planted the seed more than a year before when I was busy doing public happiness outreach, I would never have imagined that it would become such an essential pillar of my happiness. As a confident speaker and natural ‘people’s person’, silence enriched my communication skills in completely different ways; how to refine my inner listening and also hear the meaning and depth in the space between other people’s words. This life-changing silent practice became the basis of my own meditation technique which I now offer in private 1:1 retreats. You can read more about them here.

Supporting people to evolve through conscious communication is an innate calling and personal gift. This can be facilitated through personal or group settings, incorporating writing, speaking, listening, singing and silence, we heal deep-rooted insecurities, traumas and limiting beliefs through a full-spectrum, creative, wholesome approach to empowering your inner and outer voice.

Social work & Activism

Happiness activism comes in many forms but street outreach is my favourite thing. It’s so much fun to go out alone or with friends with the sole intention to spread smiles and talk about happiness. Sometimes that’s in the form of free hugs and other times that’s making music, asking people, ‘What is happiness?’, playing interactive games or giving away stickers and cards specifically designed by me to spread joy.

I am intuitive, creative and spontaneous so I usually find myself crafting unique opportunities as I embark on my journey. I am always seeking ways to share my abundance and pay forward my privileges. A lot of my work has been centred around providing support to individuals, families or communities in need. The term ‘need’ encompasses financial, physical, mental and emotional hardship. My projects can span from free coaching sessions to tailored courses to orchestrating events and gatherings or providing food and basic essentials where and when required.
