Happiness Daily
Hey, I’m Han and I travel by bicycle round the world studying happiness.
Inspired by my own long journey with mental health issues, experience travelling the world and having personally witnessed the disparity, disadvantages and desperation of so many people globally, I decided to make happiness area of focus and my mission to observe, learn, embody and share as much as I can about happiness in order to make it accessible to everyone.
There are countless therapies, retreats and spiritual practices which can help people heal their traumas and work on their well-being but they’re often expensive so only available to those with privilege. And even when we have access to these platforms, spaces and treatments, why does it become so difficult to implement daily wellbeing practices for so many? The Happiness Daily subscription will include easy-to-implement happiness tips and downloadable interactive tasks that will help you invite happiness into your everyday life.
Travelling by bicycle and living simply has taught me a lot; especially how our modern, capitalistic world has driven insecurity into humanity and with the rise of social media we are now seeing the devastating effects of a competitive, judgemental and edited highly addictive reality. I aim to create a safe space that provides an authentic representation of what it is to be a strong, unfiltered, perfectly imperfect woman dedicated to inspiring positive change.
As an activist striving for equality, campaigning for the environment, animal and human rights, I believe the root cause of all these issues is unhappiness. But highlighting all the problems of the world means you’re constantly fighting against something, often through confronting discussions leaving people feeling judged and defensive. I know, I’ve been there. But by helping people cultivate happiness within, they have more mental room to think and act more consciously in all areas.
By cultivating happiness, we can inspire change in individuals from a place of personal empowerment.
My work falls into 3 main areas:
RESEARCH
Studying diverse cultures, religions, practices and philosophies to better understand human behaviours and how happiness affects us in all areas of life
PRACTICE
Exploring, writing and experimenting with techniques to build strategies on how to implement and sustain happiness
ACTIVISM
Making it my intention to inspire happiness in others both emotionally and as a deeper state of being
As a motivational speaker and happiness coach, I am currently investing the majority of my time and energy into unpaid work to support those in need. From self funding and setting up projects in struggling communities to providing 1:1 coaching or emotional support, it can be difficult to make time for paid work especially whilst traveling by bicycle and sleeping in my tent!
The majority of my most valuable work is never seen on Facebook and Instagram because the content is too sensitive to be so public. This space will give a much more personal insight into what goes on in my everyday life, behind the scenes footage with my intimate experiences, emotions and stories AND you’ll get exclusive content from some of the unique and special people I meet and help on my journey.
