Background & Experience

Coming from a huge family with 7 siblings, my cooking experience began at home with family Friday night dinners. Learning with my dad and cousin (who is a chef) from as young as 6, I was always interested in and passionate about food.

I grew up working in hospitality, followed by gaining experience in community cooking and social activism, setting up her own projects to nourish the homeless and support underprivileged local communities with quality, healthy plant based food.

With 12+ years living and travelling abroad, I was exposed to a wide variety of international cuisines. In 2019 I started cycling the world, often staying in the homes of local people providing the unique opportunity to sit with women in their kitchens, observe and learn about local cooking styles and delicacies.

Having spent the last 8 years studying psychosocial behavioural patterns under the specialised subject of ‘happiness’, and a similar time since becoming plant-based, my knowledge of the relationship between food, personal and communal health naturally developed. I learned that the way we experience food physically changes the way we metabolise its nutrients in our bodies, realising the value of creating safe spaces to share mindful eating together. As an environmental advocate, I learned to shop locally, cook seasonally and make everything from scratch, revealing the extent of the healing power of food especially when in synchronicity with our natural environment.

Living in Mexico running a local food business and community social project, I started to become known for my culinary and social work and was invited into catering for the retreat industry. Conscious dining became effortlessly integrated as a part of my professional offerings as a key pillar of nurturing happiness.

My intention is to weave intimacy, diversity, depth, impactful flavour combinations and a sense of safety that enables people to truly relax into their dining experience. It is my hope for my unique background, organic passion for sharing food and purpose to help others to return to balance through holistic nourishment to be tasted in my cooking creations. 

Although I am not your classically trained chef, my experience is truly unique and offers a special kind of richness that charms in its own way. My cooking style fuses a blend of international flavours together with love, creativity, attention to detail and sensitivity to my guests’ needs in hope to create an emotive, personal and memorable experience.

Finding the right chef for your retreat is about so much more than simply serving good meals, it’s about shaping the entire atmosphere, energy and emotional journey of your guests. Food has a unique ability to ground people and spark connection. You can look at any culture to see the important role that food plays in both celebration and healing. Travelling has majorly influenced my fusion style of cooking, making my dishes unique and creative.

Guests often remember how they felt just as much as what they learned and food plays a powerful role in that cultivating a feeling of being nurtured. Nourishing, vibrant dishes can elevate mood, sustain energy and create moments of comfort and delight throughout the day. Shared meals become spaces where conversations deepen, friendships form, and guests feel truly cared for. When the food aligns with the retreat’s ethos, it quietly supports transformation in a way that feels natural and effortless.

My intention is to bring a sense of safety, curiosity and indulgence into my cooking for both the guests and the hosts. I cater for personal needs with thoughtfulness and attention to detail to bring a sense of comfort, ease and excitement. Conscious dining, when facilitated well, is a profound a sensory experience which nourishes on many levels. I aim to offer each meal as an immersive experience with creative textures, flavours, smells and displays to provide moments of joy, inspiration and connection that’s felt and remembered long after an event.

Couples Cooking & Connection Workshop

Deepen your connection through a unique, hands-on experience designed to bring you closer in a playful and meaningful way. This conscious cooking class invites you to explore intimacy, love languages, communication and indulgence while creating delicious food together.

Available as a 3-hour or 6-hour experience, this is a beautiful way to reconnect, celebrate your relationship and savour quality time together.
